Cold Water Creek Land and Cattle is a fully operational ranch and boutique beef producer located in the Piney Woods of East Texas. Cold Water Creek Land and Cattle is steeped in history as an operating farm and ranch since 1905. Currently, our purpose is producing top quality USDA beef for sales, generating highly desirable genetics for breeding stock, and constantly improving and revitalizing our pastures and land.
Our beef production is two-pronged. We are highly focused on raising our delicious Cold Water Creek homegrown beef as well as a smaller herd focused on producing the highly coveted Wagyu beef. Cold Water Creek homegrown beef draws on the best characteristics and genetics of Angus, Brahman, and Manine-Anjou breeds, resulting in the most delicious and pure Texas beef. At Cold Water Creek, all of our steers are conceived, born, hand fed, and finished on our ranch. From birth to butcher, our steers are raised on our pastures and cared for by our family. The animals are raised without antibiotics, hormones, or other chemical alterations.
Our breeding program centers on top quality genetics in our chosen breeds. We draw on the best characteristics of each breed to produce deep bodied, hearty cows. We breed cows with proven ease of calving, high milk production, and top maternal performance.
Our commitment to our land is foremost in our purpose. Cold Water Creek Land and Cattle is proud to have owned our original home-place for 115 yrs. We are committed to responsible pasture development and maintenance, conserving and replanting our forested areas, and passing our land to the next generation in a fertile and sustainable condition.
